No one knows for sure the origins of these enigmatic spectrums, all there is to know is what is thoroughly speculated about its origins being connected “outside” the Rivers of Souls. It is believed that some have been “incarnated” in some point of their existence, or maybe might have even inhabited the Earth disguised as “angels” or “demons” in human flesh, so they could conduct our thoughts and actions though unspeakable whispers, guiding our subconscious and actions for killings and suicides.
Five are the Fallen Souls incorporated to the mystic River of Souls and they complement the waters like figures running from under, dark shallows waiting, like mere shadows under the water. But, those “shadows” can come out and acquire not so humanly figures.
Their eyes are empty and as dark as a night of New Moon. And even when they emerge from the water they remain as a spectrum, transparent as the brumes of the River of Souls. Their job is to prevent in a dormant way the reluctant souls from refusing their fates, the fate dictated by the River and that shall be conducted by its own Guardian.
Its connection with the River of Souls is infinite and insurmountable. Being allowed only to use it’s projection outside the waters when a soul, of confused life and roots, is unable to accept its own essence and fate, refusing to accept the path to be trailed.
The Fallen Souls cannot hurt someone physically, but they share an immeasurable power in tormenting the mind and turning mad the souls that would not obey the River of Souls.

After the soul’s passage through the gates of life and death... Before purgatory or heaven…
The soul is attracted to a light of pale shine that can be compared to a melody that echoes through your mind and runs across your whole ethereal essence.
This pale grayish light is of irresistible beauty and it shall take you to a Valley where you shall be judged, not for the life priory lived, but for the life yet to be incarnated.
This Valley is known as the “Valley of the River of Souls”, an independent place beyond time and space surrounded by a mystical haze capable of dizzying the soul until extracts it’s real “roots”. There are mystical birds called as the “Black Birds” all around but there are two distinct ones. A crow, as black as a night without moonlight, and a Dove as white as the snow; they’re watching from above in branches by the rivers margins.
The recently arrived souls, when facing the crystal and calm waters of the River have the immediate instinct to bend down and to see its own reflection…
And so the River executes its task… on its waters so shall be reflected the real essence of that soul: may it be good or evil. And according to what is revealed, the soul shall have its evil essence sent to the “Gates of Purgatory” for an attempt to redeem itself; and on the other hand if the soul is of good roots, so it shall be taken through the “Gardens of Paradise” so it can rest until the next level of its evolution.

It talks about the pre-existence of an entity, much older than creation and the cosmos. Its power is concentrated in the fine and transparent veil located between good and evil.
Its name is unspeakable by languages known by man, angels or demons. Its task is to conduct the recently judged souls to their fates.
For many generations, its presence causes a certain weird feeling of relief and despair to the hundred of millions of souls it has already conducted.
As the “Beyond Conductor”, some may refer to it in whispers, nocturnal tales around fires or desperate prayers after a bad night of sleep after having some horrible nightmare.
The Guardian is a winged spectrum made and moved by the mystic mists surrounding the River of Souls, enrolled by a black mantle with only his red eyes to be seen. It has a pair of horns and a pair of distinguished wings: and angle one and a demon one.
Its looks are hideous, but it shall only conduct souls to limbo if the River determines that the soul has “evil roots”.
It is said that the Charon (the boat conductor and sole crusader of the 9 rivers of Hell), says that he is one of God’s fallen sons, or maybe even Satan’s (according to some).
But one thing is certain, the Guardian and the River of Souls are one, and they only exist to serve to a single purpose, may it be whatever is chosen according to each truth…
